Hotel Policy

We strive to ensure a pleasant and safe stay for all our JPOD Capsule Hotel guests.
Provided below are the Policies and Procedures of our hotel.

Articles

1.1. The Policies and Procedures set out the rules of our services, accountabilities, and the terms of staying in JPOD. These are an integral part of the agreement which becomes effective at:

(a) the time of booking;

(b) at the time of down-payment; or,

(c) payment in full for the Guest’s stay in JPOD. By effecting the above, the Guest acknowledges that he/she has read and accepted the Policies and Procedures.

1.2. Our Policies manual is available for review at the Front Desk.

Check-In/
Check-Out

2.1. Check-in time: 2:00 P.M.; check-out time 12:00 P.M.

2.2. Guests checking into the JPOD Capsule must be at least 18 years of age.

2.3. Request for an extension of stay must be registered at the Front Desk, as early as possible. Extension will be subject to capsule availability.

2.4. JPOD reserves the right to decline an extension of stay if the Guest has not paid, in full, for their stay to date.

2.5 A valid Passport or ID is required during check-in.

2.6. Guest capsules should not be transferred to a third party under any circumstances.

2.7. Visitor Policy:
* JPOD reserves the right to refuse entry to visitors at its sole discretion.
* Guests are only allowed to bring in visitors to the lobby area from 7am to 10pm
* Only In-House Guests are allowed to access the rooftop. If an In-House Guest wishes to bring visitors to the rooftop, the In-House Guest must register the names of his/her visitors at the front desk. The visitors will also be required to fill in the Visitor Slip.

2.8. Operating hours run from 6am to 10pm. During non-operating hours, guests are required to use key cards to enter or exit the hotel.

Refunds and Cancellations

3.1. Guaranteed Reservations (by Credit Card / Bank Transfer / Cash Deposit):- Once a reservation has been
confirmed, any cancellations must be communicated to us via email or fax. The following penalties shall be imposed
for a cancellation:-
(a) 100% of the reservation payment will be forfeited if JPOD is notified within 7 days or less, or in the case of a No
Show;
(b) 50% of reservation payment will be forfeited if JPOD is notified between 8 to 14 days;
(c) No penalty will be imposed if JPOD is notified 15 days or more.
(d) For reservations made via a third party website, cancellations must be made directly with the said third party.
JPOD is not authorised to cancel or issue refunds for any third-party reservations:

Note: When processing a refund, a fee of 2% may be charged to the guest by the Payment Gateway and the
exact amount may vary based on the payment service provider.


3.2. Non-Guaranteed Reservations: - Reservations made without any payment are not guaranteed by JPOD.

Responsibilities
of Guest

4.1. The entire property is a smoke-free facility. Violation of this rule will result in an RM300 penalty fee to cover cleaning works and other inconveniences caused.

4.2. Guests will be fully liable for any damage done to the hotel’s furnishings and technical equipment. JPOD reserves the right to charge the Guest’s credit/debit cards accordingly for any damages after his/her departure.

4.3. RM10.00 shall be applied to the Guest for lost or damaged Key cards.

4.4. In the event of non-compliance to the Policies and Procedures, JPOD may refuse to extend services to the Guest in question. The Guest will be required to settle the bill for services to date and to pay for damages if any.

Services

5.1. JPOD will provide Guests with:
5.1.1. Comfortable environment and accommodation.
5.1.2. Security
5.1.3. Housekeeping services

5.2. For any complaints and comments regarding the quality of our service, the Guest may contact our Reception or Hotel Manager.

5.3. In addition, at the Guest’s request, we provide the following services at no extra charge:
* Accommodation and Travel Information;
* Locker Cabinet* (Charges will apply for additional locker requests)
* WI-FI,
* Iron and ironing board

5.4. Due to fire hazards, the use of any immersion heaters, kettles, and other similar devices which are not part of the hotel furnishings are strictly prohibited.

Miscellaneous

6.1. Pets are not allowed on the premises.

6.2. By confirming your booking, you will be deemed to have agreed to allow JSK Lodges Sdn Bhd to collect and process your personal data, in accordance with the relevant laws. The Guest has the right to review and amend his/her personal information.

6.3. Excessive noise, unpleasant odours, or other irritants that may interfere with the comfort of other Guests, will not be allowed

6.4. Guests are not allowed to make any changes to the Capsule rooms and furnishings, including moving of furniture.
